Fayat is the fourth largest French construction company after Vinci , Bouygues and Eiffage . Fayat is active in road and steel construction (Castel & Fromaget) as well as a large manufacturer of compressors ( Matériel Routier ) with its subsidiaries BOMAG , Dynapac and Marini.
history
The company was founded in 1957 by today's billionaire Clément Fayat . In 2009, Razel-Bec was taken over by Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau . The Razel-Bec is building the LGV Rhin-Rhône and the Jules Horowitz reactor in Cadarache . In January 2017, Fayat announced that it would take over the Road Construction Equipment division with the Dynapac brand from Atlas Copco . The acquisition was completed on October 5, 2017.
