The Implenia Construction GmbH , based in Wiesbaden (formerly Bilfinger Construction GmbH ) is a German construction company . The company specializes primarily in the planning and construction of engineering structures in the field of infrastructure and energy. This includes tunnel , bridge and traffic route construction as well as hydraulic engineering and special civil engineering . There is another specialization in the area of prestressing technology . Formerly part of Bilfinger Berger , the company has been part of the Swiss Implenia Group since 2015 . The Bilfinger Group largely parted with the construction division as part of the Group's realignment.
Structure and branches
In addition to its headquarters in Wiesbaden, Bilfinger Construction operated six other branches in Berlin , Hamburg , Cologne , Mannheim , Nuremberg and Passau . In addition, Bilfinger Construction was represented by its own branches and subsidiaries in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, East and Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

- Wehrhahn Line - 3.4 km extension of the Düsseldorf light rail
Hydraulic engineering and energy
- Foundations for the London Array ( Great Britain / North Sea ) - offshore wind farm in the Thames estuary with 341 wind turbines
- Ship lift Niederfinow Nord ( Brandenburg )
- Leibis-Lichte dam ( Thuringia ) - approx. 100 m high dam of the drinking water dam
- Wasserstraßenkreuz Magdeburg - Crossing the Mittelland Canal over the Elbe
