Eiffage is a French construction company headquartered in Asnières-sur-Seine .

Eiffage employs around 69,000 people. The company is led by Jean-Francois Roverato. It was created in 1992 through the takeover of La Societe Auxiliaire d'Enterprises Electriques et de Travaux Public (SAE: founded in 1924) by Fougerolle (founded in 1884). With the takeover, the company was given the company name Eiffage .

Past major construction projects included the Viaduc de Millau and the Perpignan - Figueres high-speed line , which opened in 2010. In addition, the Normandy Bridge was built over the Seine in 1995 and the extension of the European Parliament in Brussels in 1998 .

The German company SEH Engineering (until 2016: Eiffel Germany Steel Technology ) also belongs to the Eiffage Group through Eiffel Construction Métallique SAS . On January 1, 2010, Eiffage took over the Faber construction group .

Eiffage track construction

In 2010, Eiffage von Heijmans took over the rail infrastructure division of the former Heitkamp . This division is based in Herne-Wanne, the track construction equipment and the associated workshop are located on the site of the former Heitkamp BauHolding in Herne-Wanne .
