The SEH Engineering GmbH (formerly Krupp Stahlbau Hannover GmbH , then u. A. Eiffel Germany Stahl Technologie GmbH ) is an on steel construction company specializing in Hannover . The company is a medium-sized subsidiary of Eiffage Métal SAS in France. Eiffage Métal SAS belongs to the Eiffage group, one of the largest construction groups in Europe. At the locations in Hanover, Dortmund and Ostrhauderfehn , you currently implement projects from the fields of steel construction, special construction , bridge construction , reconstruction, conveyor technology, Future Tec and Sandwich Plate System (SPS) with 270 (as of 2019) employees .
history
The company emerged from the Eisenhandlung Franz Juncken founded in 1808 in downtown Hanover. In 1860 Georg von Cölln (1837–1908) joined the company, which he ran from 1877 under the name Georg von Cölln hardware store .
From 1880 the company rose from a local hardware store. to an international company that carried out complete systems as project work. Large steel structures of all kinds and light railways were built.
In 1912 Friedrich Krupp AG took part , took over the company in 1926 and continued to run it under the old name until 1965. Afterwards the company name was Friedrich Krupp Eisenhandel . After the end of World War II in 1945, the Hanover plant was to be closed as part of the reparations. With the work of the works council, however, the jobs were retained. This was followed by the change of name to Krupp Eisenhandel GmbH and the acquisition of the current property, separation from trade and expansion of production in iron building and bridge construction.
In the 1950s, the iron trade was separated from iron building and bridge construction. The iron trade closed in 1977. The expansion in the areas of iron building and bridge construction took place in the 1950s.
During the years of the " economic miracle ", the company was involved in the expansion and development of numerous industrial companies such as Volkswagen works , Continental tire works, and Messe Hannover . After a carve as Krupp steel Hannover GmbH an assignment came to the division Krupp Hoesch Industries GmbH between 1998 and 2005. With the merger of Thyssen and Krupp carried out the assignment to the division ThyssenKrupp Technologies and in 2002 changed its name to ThyssenKrupp Steel Construction April 2005. 2006 took place after the Acquisition by the Certina Group, a change of name to Krupp Stahlbau Hannover and in 2007 to change the name to KSH Stahlbau Hannover . This was followed by the acquisition by the French Eiffage group, which resulted in a renaming to Eiffel Deutschland Stahltechnologie GmbH .
In 2016 the name was changed to SEH Engineering GmbH .
