Fazenda Rio Grande (officially Município de Fazenda Rio Grande , FRG) is a city in the Brazilian state of Paraná . It received city rights on January 26, 1990 and in 2010 had about 82,000 inhabitants, called fazendense .

Fazenda Rio Grande belongs to the mesoregion and the microregion of the state capital Curitiba , the Mesorregião Metropolitana de Curitiba and the Microrregião de Curitiba .
