Federica Sosio (born July 4, 1994 in Sondalo ) is an Italian ski racer .

biography

Sosio completed an FIS race for the first time in December 2009 ; in the giant slalom of Ratschings she took 59th place. She made her debut in the European Cup in December 2011 when she was 59th and penultimate in the giant slalom of Valtournenche . Sosio collected her first European Cup points as 30th in the super combination of Sella Nevea in February 2012. On February 16, 2015, she was able to achieve her first podium in the European Cup; in the Super-G in Davos she came second. On February 22nd, 2015, she finally made her World Cup debut in the Kranjska Gora slalom . In March 2015 she won the gold medal in Super-G at the Junior World Championships in Hafjell .

Sosio got her first World Cup points in February 2017 in the combination of Crans-Montana , where she was tenth. She finished the combined World Cup 2016/17 in 24th place.
