Federico Martínez , full name Eduardo Federico Martínez Colombo , (born November 28, 1984 in Florida ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.90 meter tall offensive player Martínez began his football career in 2004 in Uruguay with the Rampla Juniors in the Primera División . The following year he was active for league rivals Defensor Sporting . In 2006 he was back in the ranks of the Rampla Juniors. Eventually he left the club for Central Español , for which he played in the 2007 Clausura . 2007 Federico Martínez moved to Rosario Central in the Argentine Primera División and belonged to the club in the Apertura 2007 and the Clausura 2008, but was not used in the league. In the Clausura 2008 he was under contract with Club de Deportes Antofagasta in Chile .

In 2009 he played in four games in Carioca 1 for AD Cabofriense and scored twice. In 2010, the tall striker moved to Singapore for the army club FC Singapore Armed Forces / Warriors. There are 17 league games with nine or ten goals, depending on the sources. The eight-time champions Martínez also made five appearances in the Asian Champions League (two goals). On March 25, 2011 Martínez signed a one-year contract with FK Ventspils . He made his debut for the team from Ventspils on the 1st matchday of the 2011 season against FK Jūrmala-VV , the first goal marked Martínez on the 4th matchday against Olimps Riga . In the Latvian Cup he won the final against Liepājas Metalurgs with Ventspils 3-1.

In 2011 and 2013 he was also the Latvian champion. In the 2012/13 season his team won the cup again. In total, he played 70 league games for the Latvians and scored 20 goals. In 2014 he moved to Oriente Petrolero , where he played 15 games in the LFPB in the 2013/14 season . He scored two hits. After this season, so far (as of August 12, 2016) there have been no appearances or a member of the squad for him.
