Federico Pedini Amati

Federico Pedini Amati (born August 11, 1976 ) is a San Marinese politician.

Pedini Amati received a diploma in accounting and trading in 1996. From 2005 to 2006 he headed the state-owned Centrale di Latte . He worked as a freelance real estate agent and insurance agent.

He joined the Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici in 2005 and became a member of the party executive in the same year. In the 2006 parliamentary elections, he succeeded in moving into the Consiglio Grande e Generale , the parliament of San Marino, as a replacement for outgoing ministers . He became a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and San Marino delegate to the Interparliamentary Union . In the 2008 elections, he returned to parliament on the PSD's list. He remained a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and a delegate to the Interparliamentary Union. In 2009 he left the PSD and was one of the founders of the Partito Socialista Riformista Sammarinese with seven other members of the Consiglio Grande e Generale . In May 2012, the PSRS merged with the Nuovo Partito Socialista to form the Partito Socialista . Pedini Amati was re-elected to parliament in 2012 on the PS list. He became a member of the Anti-Mafia Commission and, as in the two previous legislative terms, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. In November 2013 he and Erik Casali founded Liberamente San Marino, a group within the Partito Socialista. On March 6, 2015, he announced his resignation from the PS group. In July 2016 he was one of the founders of the Movimento Democratico San Marino Insieme (MD-SMI), which merged with the Movimento RETE to form the Democrazia in Movimento coalition . In the parliamentary elections at the end of 2016, Pedini Amati won the only seat for the MD-SMI.

In the period from April 1 to October 1, 2008 he was together with Rosa Zafferani Head of State ( Capitano Reggente ) of San Marino.
