Career

society

The 1.80-meter-tall midfielder Pintos, called Chimpa , has been in the first division Defensors team since Apertura 2011 and made his debut there under coach Pablo Repetto . For the Montevideans, he played 28 games in the Primera División until the Apertura 2012 and scored four goals (according to other sources, he completed 29 games and scored five goals). He also appeared in five Copa Libertadores matches . On October 30, 2012 he was thrown from the team and relegated to the reserve in the Tercera División due to an incident in the training of coach Tabaré Silva , under which he was previously considered less often . About a week later he asked the AUF to terminate his contract with Defensor. He had already separated from his advisor Daniel Fonseca three months earlier . In mid-2013 there were reports of Pintos moving to Argentina to Godoy Cruz and he also trained there. As early as July 14, 2013, however, it was announced that he was not playing a role in the plans of the local coach Martin Palermo . At the end of September 2013, he trained again with the Defensors team, who played in the Tercera División , where he was still under contract with the first division club from Montevideo until mid-2014. A few days earlier, also in September 2013, there had been an arbitration award by the AUF, in which it was determined that Pintos was not free of contract. In July 2014, his move to the Argentine club Club Atlético Belgrano, coached by Ricardo Zielinski , was announced after a previous trial session. He did not come to a first division there. At the end of December 2015, he moved to the Uruguayan first division club River Plate Montevideo, trained by Juan Ramón Carrasco . In the 2016 Clausura he played five first division games and two games in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . After nine other first division appearances in the 2016 season and without a personal scoring during his time at River Plate Montevideo, he joined the team of league rivals Boston River in January 2017 .

National team

In 2012 he was a member of the Uruguayan Olympic team at the Summer Olympics in London . There he was only intended as one of four replacement athletes.
