The Fedotowa Spit ( Ukrainian Федо́това коса́ ; Russian Федотова коса / Fedotowa kossa ) is a spit in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia in the north of the Azov Sea .
The Fedotowa Spit is located in Yakymivka district between the village of Kyrylivka and the Byryuchy Island , with which it has been connected since 1929. It separates the Utlyuk Liman (Ukrainian Утлюкский лиман ) from the Sea of Azov over a length of 22 kilometers (together with the connected Byryuchy Island for 45 kilometers) . The spit is developed for tourism.
