The Utljuk-Liman (Ukrainian Утлюцький лиман / Utljuzkyj lyman ; Russian Утлюкский лиман / Utljukski liman ) is a Liman in the south of Ukraine and forms the confluence of the 83 km long Velykyuk Utljuk ( to German long Malyj Utljuk ( Малий Утлюк in German "Little Utljuk") in the Sea of Azov .
The Fedotowa Spit with the connected Byryuchy Island separates the Liman from the north coast of the Sea of Azov and the Arabat Spit from the Sywasch .
The Liman has a length of 45 km and covers an area of about 400 km². Its width is about 12 km, a maximum of almost 20 km and its depth is 3.5 m. In addition to the Utljuk, the 10 km long Atmanaj (Ukrainian Атманай ) flows into the Liman. In the east of the Liman is the village Kyryliwka, in the west the city of Henichesk .
