Kurt von Hertzberg

Kurt Oswald Reinhold Ernst von Hertzberg (born December 7, 1871 in Görlitz , † October 4, 1914 at Courcelles-le-Comte , Department Pas-de-Calais ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Hertzberg studied law at the University of Leipzig . In 1893 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Leipzig , in which he distinguished himself as a senior . At the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD . After the exams he was a government assessor with the government in Wroclaw . He was appointed provisional in 1909 and finally in 1910 as district administrator in the Ohlau district . Two months after the beginning of the First World War , he fell as a reserve captain in the German Army on the Western Front .
