The light railway Pesch Elan ( Russian Узкоколейная железная дорога Пешеланского гипсового завода "Декор-1» Uskokolejnaja schelesnaja doroga Peschelanskowo gipsowowo sawoda "decor-1" ) is a light railway in Gipswerk the company decorative one in the industrial areas Pesch Elan, Bebyaevo and Novoselki in the university town of Arzamas in the Russian Oblast of Nizhny Novgorod .

history

The first section of the narrow-gauge railway with a gauge of 750 mm was put into operation in 1946. The 4 km long route is used to transport gypsum from a gypsum pit to the decor-1 plaster works in Peschelan ( Russian: Пешеланский гипсовый завод ; also Декор-1 ). 10 trains run there every day.
