The Swope Soccer Village is a soccer complex on the site of Swope Park in Kansas City , Missouri , United States . The complex consists of a total of nine football fields, six of which are artificial turf and three are natural turf fields . The sports complex was opened in 2007 and expanded in 2014. The facility operates as a public-private partnership between the City of Kansas City and Sporting Kansas City from Major League Soccer .
The main stadium Children's Mercy Victory Field has a capacity of 3,557 and has been the home ground of the FC Kansas City soccer team from the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the Swope Park Rangers from the United Soccer League (USL) since 2015 . In addition, the youth teams of Sporting Kansas City play their home games here.
