Felipe Lorenzon (born November 11, 1993 ) is a Brazilian athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Athletic career

Felipe Lorenzon gained his first international experience in 2010 when he won the gold medal at the Youth South American Championships in Santiago de Chile with the 1.5 kg discus with a new championship record of 58.74 m and placed sixth in the shot put with 15.99 m . The following year he retired at the Pan American Junior Championships in Miramar with 56.42 m in qualification, but then won the silver medal at the Junior South American Championships in Medellín with 54.23 m. In 2012 he finished fifth at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona with 61.18 m and then won the silver medal at the U23 Athletics South American Championships in São Paulo with 51.71 m. At the 2013 South American Athletics Championships in Cartagena he finished fifth with 54.91 m and the following year he won the silver medal again at the U23 South American Championships in Montevideo with 56.21 m. Before that, he also won the silver medal behind Argentine Germán Lauro at the Ibero-American Championships in São Paulo with 59.85 m .

In 2017 Lorenzon became the Brazilian champion in the discus throw.
