Felix Auböck (born December 19, 1996 in Bad Vöslau , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian swimmer.
life and career
Felix Auböck has been swimming at the Berlin swimming club SG Neukölln Berlin since 2013 . Thanks to his good performance at the German championships , he was able to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games , in which he participated in the disciplines of 200 meters freestyle (18th place), 400 meters freestyle (25th place) and 1500 meters freestyle (42nd place). In the 200-meter freestyle swimming, he set a new Austrian record of 1: 47.24 minutes (previously 1: 47.60).
After the Games, Auböck started his four-year full scholarship at the University of Michigan , which he received.
At the swimming world championships in Budapest 2017 , Auböck took part in the categories freestyle 200 m (rank 16), 400 m (rank 5), 800 m (rank 6) and 1500 m (rank 12).
At the 2018 European Swimming Championships , he takes part in the 200m, 400m and 800m freestyle categories.
