Felix Frede (born April 8, 1994 ) is a German snooker player .

Career

In October 2010 Felix Frede took part in the German Championship for the first time and was eliminated in the preliminary round. After he was eliminated in the preliminary round in 2011 , he took part in a PTC tournament, the Paul Hunter Classic , for the first time in August 2012 , where he lost 4-0 to Englishman Alex Davies in the first qualifying round . At the Antwerp Open 2012 as well as the Ruhr Open 2013 and the Antwerp Open 2013 he was eliminated in the second qualifying round. In 2014 , Frede was nominated for the first time for the European Championship and reached the round of 64 there. In November 2014, Frede made it into the final round of the German Championship for the first time , losing 3-1 to Jan Eisenstein in the quarter-finals . A few weeks later he qualified at the Lisbon Open , and thus for the first time at a PTC tournament, for the main round and was defeated there in the first round by the Thai Thepchaiya Un-Nooh with 1: 4. In June 2015, Frede again reached the round of the last 64 of the European Championship . At the 2015 World Cup , he and Lukas Kleckers formed the German team that was eliminated in the preliminary round.

Frede currently plays for Bundesliga club 1. DSC Hannover , with whom he became German champion in 2015 .

At the Paul Hunter Classic 2016 he reached the main round of a Pro-Am tournament on the Main Tour for the third time . This time, professional player Michael Holt was the final destination (1: 4).
