Felix Rogner (* 1933 in Zurich ) is an em. Swiss cultural manager , media economist and jazz bassist .

Life

Rogner attended schools in Zurich. After graduating from the commercial school and doing an internship at the Helvetia insurance company, he studied at the law and political science faculty of the University of Zurich, where he received an administrative dissertation for a doctorate in 1965. oec. publ. PhD. While still studying, Felix Rogner worked as managing director of the Swiss cabaret artist and lyricist César Keizer and as assistant to professors Lutz and Büchner in the socio-economic seminar at the University of Zurich. The city of Zurich entrusted him with the management of the theater on Hechtplatz from 1963 to 1967.

From 1964 Rogner was secretary for cultural affairs of the then mayor Dr. Emil Landolt and Dr. Sigmund Widmer .

In 1967 he was appointed head of entertainment by Swiss television . In 1971 he switched to the cinema industry: as director of the General. Kinematographen AG he was responsible for the programming of the largest Swiss cinema chain in Zurich, Basel, Bern and St. Moritz. After the sale of the cinema chain to the media company Jean Frey AG (today Axel Springer Schweiz AG), he took over the development of activities in the area of ​​new media and was temporarily also publishing director.

Felix Rogner has been the owner of the communications agency PROMEDIA (public relations and management in the media sector) since 1989. He retired from active working life in 2009 and lives in Zollikon near Zurich.

Private

Rogner is married to Carla, b. Keller, and has two grown children and 4 grandchildren.
