Eugen Felix Schwalbe (born March 25, 1892 in Kleinprießligk near Leipzig , † June 12, 1974 in Bielefeld ) was a German officer , most recently general of the infantry in World War II .

Life

Schwalbe fought as an officer in the First World War . After the war he also worked in a volunteer corps . From there he switched to the Reichswehr and served in various units. During the Second World War he was in command of the 344th Infantry Division and the 719th Infantry Division . Later in the war, Schwalbe served as the commanding general of the LXVII.
