In the summer of 1887, the third extraordinary state parliament of the Baden Estates Assembly took place, after there had been a first extraordinary state parliament in 1838 and a second in 1870 . The session of the third extraordinary state parliament lasted from June 7, 1887 to July 5, 1887 with a session interruption from June 13 to June 28. During this period there were four meetings of the First Chamber and six meetings of the Second Chamber. The submission on the strategic pathways was available for consultation .

The members of the Second Chamber in the third extraordinary Landtag were the same as in the 32nd Landtag in 1885 and 1886 . Only the three deceased members Franz Heinrich von Feder , Heinrich Krausmann and Franz Karl Roßhirt were missing and were not replaced.
