Konstantin Noppel

Konstantin Noppel (born October 30, 1836 in Radolfzell ; † August 25, 1914 there ) was a businessman, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Noppel, son of the businessman and Radolfzell mayor Dominik (us) Noppel , undertook extensive trips in Europe and America, including between 1855 and 1858 in California and between 1860 and 1868 in Brazil ( Bahia and Pernambuco ). From 1864 to 1868 he was Deputy Royal Prussian Vice Consul in Pernambuco. From 1870 he was a member of the Radolfzell municipal council and there from 1880 to 1891 also mayor.

He was also a member of the Constance District Committee from 1873 and chairman of the same from 1876.

Between 1877 and 1881 he was a member of the II. Baden Chamber of Estates and the I. Baden Chamber of Estates from 1883 to 1891.

From 1881 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Baden 1 Constance , Überlingen , Stockach and the National Liberal Party .

Konstantin was married to Anna Maria, nee Abbreviation, and had three children with her: Anna, Rosa and Constantin (born August 2, 1883).
