- ↑ According to the authors Ludwig Bauer and Bernhard Gißler in their work The Members of the First Chamber of the Badische Ständeversammlung from 1819 - 1912 , Fidelitas, Karlsruhe 1913, 5th edition, p. 88 was a Freiherr Karl Philipp von Gemmingen-Guttenberg from 1861 to 1864 Member of the First Chamber of the Baden Council of Estates. According to Bauer / Gißler, he died in 1882. It is unclear why the name should have been Karl Philipp von Gemmingen-Guttenberg , because in the year 1882 nobody of the Gemmingen family died . However, Karl Weiprecht Reinhard von Gemmingen , a son of Karl Philipp von Gemmingen , who died in 1831, died in 1882 , whose biography makes it at least possible that he was the named elector in the First Chamber.
