Felix von Amsberg

Felix von Amsberg (born August 27, 1875 in Bad Harzburg ; † May 3, 1945 near Berlin ) was a German administrative and court official.

Life

Felix von Amsberg was the son of Major zD Felix von Amsberg (1829–1879) and Marie born. von Elern, later wife of Witzleben (1844–1913). His grandfather was the founder of the Duke Brunswick State Railroad, Philipp August von Amsberg . After attending the Königliches Wilhelms-Gymnasium Berlin , he studied law and camera studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin . In 1895 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating as Dr. jur. he became a member of the government and an administrative judge. Amsberg was a Brunswick chamberlain and reserve officer in the Guard Cuirassier Regiment . After the First World War he lived in Schwerin. He was married to Mathilde Freiin von Reibnitz , daughter of Rear Admiral Paul von Reibnitz . He died in the war near Berlin in 1945.
