Ferdinand Eduard Gustav Wilhelm Bock von Wülfingen (born June 10, 1883 in Neu-Vorwerk near Ratzeburg ; † May 22, 1956 in Miltenberg ) was a German lieutenant general , hereditary corpse and treasurer of the Principality of Hildesheim .

Life

He came from the Lower Saxon noble family Bock von Wülfingen and was the son of Karl Bock von Wülfingen (1839-1919).

Bock von Wülfingen joined the Prussian Army in 1901 and took part in the First World War. After the war, in the Reichswehr assumed he was in 1923 for the Defense Ministry to Berlin placed where it Organization Department army was active in the (T 2) and the following year for Major transported. In 1928 he moved to the staff of III. Division of the 6th (Prussian) Artillery Regiment to Hanover , where he was promoted to lieutenant colonel in 1929 . Most recently he was lieutenant general and commander of the Berlin military replacement inspection. In 1943 he retired from active military service at the age of 60.

Ferdinand Bock von Wülfingen was also a permanent representative of the President of the Reich Court Martial and a member of the People's Court . He was also a legal knight of the Order of St. John .

He died in 1956 on the Mildenburg in his possession above the town of Miltenberg.

As the oldest representative of his line of the noble family, Ferdinand Bock von Wülfingen was Erbdrost and treasurer of the Principality (Hochstift) Hildesheim.
