Ferdinand Joseph Schliz

Ferdinand Joseph Schliz (born October 31, 1778 in Untergröningen ; † September 21, 1844 in Rottenburg ) was a German lawyer , administrative clerk and senior bailiff , comparable to today's district administrator .

Life

Ferdinand Joseph Schliz, the son of a Hohenlohe expedition councilor, studied law at the University of Jena from 1797 . After that he became in 1800 the Hohenlohe government secretariat in Bartenstein and from 1802 a judicial officer in Sindringen . From 1808 Schliz became chief bailiff in Pfedelbach and in 1809 bailiff and clerk in Möckmühl . From 1811, Schliz was appointed chief administrator and from June 17, 1812, chief magistrate and chief officer at Neckarsulm . In 1822 he moved to the Oberamt Herrenberg as a senior bailiff and was retired there in 1834 due to illness. Ferdinand Joseph Schliz died on September 21, 1844.
