Ferdinand Ludwig Freiherr von der Horst zu Cappeln (* July 9, 1727 , † March 3, 1799 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and canon in Münster .

Life

Ferdinand Ludwig Freiherr von der Horst zu Cappeln was the son of Lieutenant General Maximilian Ferdinand Anton von der Horst and his wife Anna Sophia Wilhelmine von Lüninck . His brother Mauritz Karl was canon in Münster from 1737 to 1746 . By giving up, Ferdinand Ludwig came into possession of this cathedral praise from Münster . In 1761 he campaigned for the candidate Droste zu Füchten in the election of the prince-bishop . He held the office of cathedral waiter, was provost of St. Ludgeri in Münster and St. Remigius Borken . He was also archdeacon in Winterswijk (Netherlands). In 1780 he was ordained a subdeacon .
