Ferdinand Mungenast

Ferdinand Mungenast  (* 1849  in  Grins ; †  September 28,  1911  in  Bozen ) was an Austrian architect who mainly worked in Bozen and the surrounding area. Some of its buildings are listed.

Life

Mungenast studied at the  Imperial and Royal Polytechnic Institute  in Vienna. In 1875 he settled in Bolzano. He designed sacred buildings, three of his churches and some of his cemetery chapels were implemented. He designed a hotel in  Appiano , a school and several villas in the vicinity.
