Ferdinand Szuhany

Ferdinand Szuhany (born June 13, 1813 in Wiesloch ; † August 19, 1899 in Hilpertsau ) was an administrative lawyer from Baden.

Life

Szuhany studied law at the University of Heidelberg, where he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg in 1833 , and later moved to the University of Freiburg. He entered the administrative service in Baden and became provisional mayor of the city of Gernsbach during the Baden Revolution in 1849 after the battle in Gernsbach . In 1850, Szuhany became director of the “women's penitentiary” in the city center of Bruchsal and the local “police custody”. He passed his retirement from 1864 in Karlsruhe .
