Ferdinand Wilhelm von Bocholtz zu Störmede and Henneckenrode (* after 1700 ; † January 8, 1784 in Hildesheim ) was canon in Hildesheim and Münster .

Life

Ferdinand Wilhelm von Bocholtz zu Störmede and Henneckenrode came from the Lower Rhine noble family von Bocholtz . He was the son of Jobst Arnold Christoph von Bocholtz zu Störmede and Henneckenrode and his wife Maria Helena von Schade zu Blessenol and Antfeld. His brother Caspar Arnold (1701–1789) was married to Maria Theresia von Meschede and renounced his prebend in 1733 in Hildesheim in favor of Ferdinand Wilhelm. By papal commission in 1742 he came into the possession of a cathedral priest in Münster . Here he was elected cathedral scholaster on November 16, 1761 . In 1771 he became dean of the collegiate monastery St. Andreas in Hildesheim . Ferdinand Wilhelm was a subdeacon and in 1783 renounced his Münster prebend in favor of his nephew Theodor Werner von Bocholtz . He died in 1784 and is buried in Hildesheim Cathedral.
