Ferdinand von Wolff-Metternich (politician, 1855)

Baron Ferdinand von Wolff-Metternich (born February 3, 1855 in Benrath ; † July 12, 1919 at Gut Seelen near Xanten ) was a German landowner, chief forester and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Ferdinand von Wolff-Metternich attended the Collegium Augustinianum Gaesdonck , the Rhenish Knight Academy in Bedburg and the Royal Prussian Forest Academy in Hannoversch Münden . He was first lieutenant in the reserve of the Hussar Regiment Emperor Nicolaus I (Westphalian) No. 8 and holder of the Landwehr service award, 2nd class . Between 1904 and 1918 he was the chief forester in Morbach .

From 1903 to 1918 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , and from 1903 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Trier 2 Wittlich , Bernkastel , and the German Center Party .
