Fernand Grosjean (born May 5, 1924 in Geneva or Montana VS ; † August 19, 2015 ) was a Swiss ski racer and paternal grandfather of the French Formula 1 racing driver Romain Grosjean .

The trained mechanic Grosjean won four titles at the Swiss championships in alpine skiing . In 1947 he was successful in the combination, in 1952, 1954 (at the same time with Georges Schneider ) and 1955 he won the slalom championships .

In 1948 Grosjean took part in the Winter Olympics in St. Moritz . In the downhill race , the Swiss crossed the finish line in eighth place after 3: 03.1 minutes, and finished the combined competition in 16th place with a score of 16.61. At the Alpine World Ski Championships in Aspen in 1950 , Grosjean was runner-up in the giant slalom world champion behind the Italian Zeno Colò (time: 1: 55.2 minutes). Two years later, at the games in Oslo in 1952 , Grosjean took part in the giant slalom race, which he finished after 2: 33.8 minutes and in 11th place. In the same year, Grosjean won the slalom race of the Arlberg-Kandahar race with a running time of 1:56 minutes .
