Fernando Arismendi , full name José Fernando Arismendi Peralta , (born March 31, 1991 in Paso de los Toros ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, midfielder Arismendi, who is 1.71 meters tall, is the brother of soccer player Matías Arismendi . He was a member of the Uruguayan first division club Defensor Sporting since 2010 . There he was used once in the Primera División in the 2011/12 season . He also played five games in the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 in 2012 , in which his club reached the final. From January 2013 to July 2013 he played on loan with the Rampla Juniors . He then returned to Defensor, but was loaned to the second division Rocha FC at the end of September 2013 without another first division assignment . In the 2013/14 season he was used there 27 times in the Segunda División and scored nine goals. This made him the team's most successful goalscorer that season. In July 2014, he moved to the first division Sud América as part of another loan . There he played 22 times (three goals) in the 2014/15 season and 13 times (seven goals) in Apertura 2015 in the Primera División. In January 2016 he was transferred to the Mexican club Chiapas FC , who immediately loaned him to Cafetaleros de Tapachula . With the Mexicans he came seven times (no goal) in the league to train and played four games (one goal) of the Copa México . Another loan deal followed in June 2016. Celaya FC was the receiving club this time. There he was used in a league game (no goal). In August 2017, the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Cerro signed him on loan.
