Fernando Cuenca
Fernando Cuenca (* 1939 - March 18, 2015 in Mexico City ), also known by the nickname El Perro ( The Dog ), was a Mexican football player in the position of a winger .
career

Cuenca joined Club America in 1958 , in whose reserve teams he began his career. For the 1959/60 season he made the jump to the first team. Throughout his professional career , he played exclusively for the Americanistas, with whom he won the Mexican soccer championship and the cup competition twice.
National team
Cuenca made his debut for the Mexican national team in a game played on March 28, 1963 for the CONCACAF Gold Cup against Jamaica , which was held for the first time that year , which was won 8-0 and in which "El Perro" scored his first and only international goal (to Intermediate score of 5: 0 in the 49th minute). He played his two other international matches two days later against Costa Rica (0-0) and on March 19, 1967 against Honduras (1-0).
