Fernando Távora
Fernando Luís Cardoso Meneses de Tavares e Távora (born August 25, 1923 in Porto , Portugal ; † September 3, 2005 , Matosinhos , Portugal) was a Portuguese architect and is considered one of the founders of the Porto School .
Life
Tavora's teacher was Carlos João Chambers Ramos . He taught at the architecture faculties in Porto and Coimbra . Távora is considered to be the founder of the Escola do Porto . Fernando is inscribed on the list of sons and daughters of the city of Porto .
