Ferrel is a municipality in the Peniche County in Portugal . Ferrel is 6 km north of Peniche. It follows directly on from Baleal .
Every year from August 5th, there is a big village festival that brings music, fireworks and a fair to Ferrel. Traditionally, a donkey race takes place around the church in the center of the village. The most famous beach of Ferrel is Almagreira, a popular meeting place for surfers (wave riders).
