The Festival du Bout du Monde (German "Festival at the end of the world") is a world music festival that has been taking place every summer since 2000 on the French Crozon Peninsula in the Finistère department of Brittany .

concept

The festival offers a wide range of new and established artists from various genres and origins on three stages. One of the goals of the festival is to give little-known musicians the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience.

event

The Place d'Ys venue is located in the Armorique Regional Nature Park . The number of visitors over the entire weekend of the event has been around 60,000 for several years. Among the performing musicians were, for example, Bonga , Emir Kusturica , Têtes Raides , Maceo Parker and Rokia Traoré . In 2015, more than 30 different musicians perform, including Eric Burdon , Orange Blossom and the John Butler Trio .
