The Fethiye İlçe Stadı is a football stadium in the Turkish city of Fethiye , Province of Muğla . The football club Fethiyespor plays its home games here. Today it offers 8,372 seats in its ranks.
history
Until 2006 it still had a capacity of 3,000 places before it was expanded to 10,000 places. Usually the “Ultras” from Fethiyespor take their seats in the south curve, while the guest fans are in the north curve, whereby the guest stands have no more than 1,500 seats. The venue is a football stadium with stands right up to the pitch and was expanded in accordance with UEFA guidelines . In addition to the sport of soccer, the facility is also used for national holidays.
On November 25, 2015, the Turkish national soccer team played against Russia (0-0) in front of 1,485 spectators in a qualifying game for the 2017 European soccer championship in the stadium in Fethiye.
