Geographical location

history
In 963 the Ardennes Count Siegfried exchanged land in Viulna (Feulen) with the St. Maximin Monastery in Trier for the Bockfelsen in the Alzette valley . He thus laid the foundation stone for the German noble house of Luxemburg and the county of Luxemburg.
