Fidelis Cheza

Fidelis Chirimuuta Cheza (* 1947 in Southern Rhodesia , † October 25, 2015 in Harare ) was a Zimbabwean actor .

Life

Cheza is considered one of the veterans of the Zimbabwean film industry. In 1985 he appeared in the feature film Quatermain - In Search of the Treasure of Kings as a leading tribal warrior. Two years later he was also involved in the successor Quatermain II - In Search of the Mysterious City . In the same year he played a supporting role in In the jungle all hell is going on . In 1992, he played a bartender in Jit . He became famous as Chief Palala in the Canadian-American adventure film The Lost World and its successor in the same year Return to the Lost World . In 1993 he worked in The Trace of Wind - The Last Great Adventure and in Bopha! - fight for freedom with. In 1997 he acted in an episode of the TV series Diamant , as well as in the film Kini & Adams as Tapera .

Cheza, who was featured in some productions as Fidelis Chea , was seen in over 40 domestic and foreign productions. He died in 2015 and was buried in the Warren Hills in Harare.
