Muriel Houtteman (born May 7, 1972 in Ixelles / Elsene , Belgium ), better known as Fili (or Fily) ( Mol- ) Houteman , is a former Belgian stripper who, through her affair with Daniel Ducruet , which led to his divorce from Stéphanie von Monaco led, got through the press worldwide.

The "Ducruet" affair

Houtteman was the winner of the “Miss Nude Belgium” striptease contest. In August 1996 the Belgian photographer Stephane de Lisiecki arranged a meeting between Houttemans and Daniel Ducruet, the then husband of the Monegasque Princess Stéphanie, in a villa in Villefranche-sur-Mer rented for this purpose . Houtteman seduced Ducruet by the swimming pool, while de Lisiecki and Houtteman's friend Yves Hoogewys lay in wait in a hiding place and photographed and filmed the love game with telephoto lenses . The photos were sold to the press and published in Germany, Italy and Spain. Publication was banned in France. The scandal immediately led to Ducruet's divorce from Stéphanie of Monaco. Houtteman marketed the popularity she had gained in this way through appearances in television and glossy magazines such as Eurotrash, Schreinemakers TV and Penthouse .

The process

In 2000, Ducruet initiated a criminal trial against Houtteman, de Lisiecki and Hoogewys for interference with their private lives in Nice . De Lisiecki confessed to having initiated everything and agreed with the accomplices. Houtteman denied knowing about the hidden photographers. Houtteman was sentenced to six months and the photographers to one year in prison . The penalties were for probation suspended. Ducruet was awarded a compensation of 200,000 francs .

After the affair

Public interest faded soon after the affair. In 2003 she published her biography in French: Profession strip-teaseuse: Les dessous du métier (Edition Michel Lafon). In 2004 she once again graced the cover of a Belgian men's magazine under the title: 7 years after Monaco . At that time she was working as a gymnastics teacher in a Brussels sports club.
