description

The church, which is surrounded by a cemetery wall, is a late Gothic building from the first third of the 16th century. The tower in the southern corner of the choir has round-arched sound openings and is crowned by an eight-sided pointed helmet. The sacristy is on the north side of the choir. On the nave, remains of a painted tracery frieze, painted, Gothic architectural decor and on the gable of the west facade are preserved joint paintings. The chamfered, late Gothic west portal is protected by a 20th century vestibule. A comprehensive exterior renovation will take place in 2016.

In the nave, a mesh vault with stuccoed ridges and tartlets rests on polygonal wall pillars. The pointed, chamfered triumphal arch connects the nave with the choir, which has been raised by five steps and is shifted to the south off the axis. In the one-yoke choir with a five-eighth closing, a ribbed vault rises on circular services . A late Gothic pointed arch portal with an iron plate door leads into the sacristy.
