Life

Isidore was a simple farm laborer and in his youth worked as a servant to the nobleman Iván de Vargas . He was distinguished by obedience and diligent work without neglecting prayer and exercises of charity. Together with his wife María de la Cabeza , whom he met in Torrelaguna , he supported friends and those in need. Both had a son named Illán, who died early and was also venerated as holy by the people.

Various miracles are attributed to the saint. Among other things, angels are said to have tilled his field while he fell asleep under a tree.
