The Lungötz branch church is located in the center of Lungötz in the Annaberg-Lungötz community in the Hallein district in the province of Salzburg . The Roman Catholic branch church of the parish church Annaberg im Lammertal, which is subordinate to the patronage of Vincent and Joseph, belongs to the dean's office in Hallein in the archdiocese of Salzburg .

history

The church was built in 1964 according to the plans of the architect Robert Posch.

architecture

The block-like, north-facing church building under a gable roof has an attached tower with a tent roof in the southeast. In the southwest there is a baptistery and a Lady Chapel. The wall painting in the choir Christ in the mandorla and evangelist symbols was created by the painter Max Spielmann . Albert Birkle designed the glass windows .

Furnishing

Johann Kals (1965) created the reliefs of Saints Florian, Joseph and Vinzenz and the Altar of Mary with the Madonna in protective cloak. The baptismal font with the reliefs Moses beats water out of the rock, passage through the Red Sea, baptism of Philip and baptism of Christ was created by Josef Zenzmaier .
