Filip Barovic (born July 29, 1990 in Nikšić , Yugoslavia ) is a Montenegrin basketball player . From 2016 to 2017 he was under contract with Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany .

Career

For his homeland Montenegro, Barovic went through all junior national teams during his youth. Barovic began his professional career in the 2011/12 season with the Montenegrin club KK Mornar Bar . In the following season Barovic moved to the Hungarian first division to Soproni KC . In the summer of 2014, Barovic moved to KTE-Duna Aszfalt within the league .

For the 2015/16 season Barovic moved to the Bulgarian league to Lukoil Academic Sofia . There Barovic was able to contribute to winning the Bulgarian championship with an average of 10.9 points and 7.1 rebounds. In the FIBA Europe Cup 2015/16 he averaged 13.6 points and 6.6 rebounds.

Barovic moved to the German basketball league for the Telekom Baskets Bonn for the 2016/17 season . After a year, however, the ways parted again and Barovic moved back to Montenegro to KK Budućnost Podgorica .
