The Košarkaški klub Mornar ( Serbian - Cyrillic кошаркарски клуб Морнар ; basketball club sailor ) is a basketball club from Bar in Montenegro . The men's team was established in 1974 within the Mornar Bar sports association and has not yet won any titles. However, in the recent past, after the independence of Montenegro, the team was twice Montenegrin runner-up in 2011 and 2016, cup finalists in 2010 and 2016 and runner-up in the supranational Balkan League in 2016.

Founded in 1974, the club's basketball team has not had any particular successes, although the club with the local Đuro Ostojić as well as with Ivan Paunić , Đorđe Gagić , Vladimir Mihailović , Nikola Ivanović and the later NBA professional Nikola Vučević, at least in the meantime, various Serbian and trained Montenegrin national players. In addition, NBA professional Aleksandar Pavlović was also born in the village.
After the independence of Montenegro so far series champion KK Budućnost from the capital Podgorica denied the team from the coast a title, which reached at least twice the final series for the championship and the final of the national cup competition. At the last two national finals in 2016, Foreign Minister and club president Igor Lukšić and sporting director Đuro Ostojić officiated a new management team, under which the team reached the final for the first time in their sixth participation in the supranational Balkan League . The finals, however, were lost in addition to the return leg against defending champion KB Sigal Prishtina despite a win in the second leg in front of their own audience.
