Filip Gavenda (born January 13, 1996 in Považská Bystrica ) is a Slovak volleyball player .

Career

Gavenda started his career at VŠK Púchov . In 2010 he moved to VK Ekonóm SPU Nitra and in the 2011/12 season he played for the Volley Teamu Bratislava . In 2012, the diagonal attacker moved to COP Trenčín . On June 29, 2013 he made his debut in the Slovak national team in the Europa League match against Austria . In 2015 Gavenda went to the Italian league for Revivre Milano . In 2016 he was signed by the German Bundesliga club Netzhoppers Königs Wusterhausen . With the club from Brandenburg he reached the semifinals of the DVV Cup and the playoff quarterfinals of the Bundesliga in the 2016/17 season . In 2017 he played with Slovakia in the world league .
