Filippo Castracane degli Antelminelli (born March 23, 1851 in Cagli , Province of Pesaro and Urbino , Italy , † August 21, 1899 in Montecatini , Province of Pistoia ) was an Archbishop of Curia of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Filippo Castracane degli Antelminelli studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the seminary of the diocese of Cagli and Pergola . On July 5, 1876, he received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Cagli and Pergola. Castracane degli Antelminelli received his doctorate in canon law .

On September 25, 1891, Pope Leo XIII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Edessa in Osrhoene . The Cardinal Secretary of State Mariano Cardinal Rampolla del Tindaro donated him episcopal ordination on October 11th of the same year .

On June 18, 1894, Pope Leo XIII appointed him. as President of the Pontifical Diplomatic Academy in Rome . Filippo Castracane degli Antelminelli resigned as president of the Pontifical Diplomatic Academy in 1898.

Filippo Castracane degli Antelminelli is buried on Campo Verano in Rome.
