Filippo Giannini
Filippo Giannini (born May 9, 1923 in Nettuno , Province of Rome , Italy ; † February 10, 2012 ) was auxiliary bishop in Rome .
Life
Filippo Giannini was ordained a priest on June 29, 1947 . Pope . John Paul II appointed him on December 1, 1980 Titular of Subaugusta and auxiliary bishop in the Diocese of Rome and donated him on 6 January 1981 in St. Peter's Basilica , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were Giovanni Canestri , Auxiliary Bishop in Rome, and Belchior Joaquim da Silva Neto CM , Bishop of Luz . He was an advisor to the Pia Unione Pietatis Opus aid organization .
On July 3, 1998, John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
