Filippus Fourie Pienaar

Filippus Fourie Pienaar OBE (* 1877 , † 1948 ) was a South African military and ambassador .

Life

Filippus Fourie Pienaar was a major in the Second Boer War and was awarded. From 1929 to February 23, 1934 he was permanent representative of the South African government to the League of Nations and the ILO in Geneva .

From January 31, 1934 to January 1939, he had exequatur as consul general in Lourenço Marques .

From January 5, 1939 to March 9, 1946 he was envoy to António de Oliveira Salazar in Lisbon .
