The Last Days of Mankind - Final Days ( Final Days of Planet Earth is) an American science fiction film by Robert Lieberman from the year of 2006.

Three years ago, astronaut miners completed a daring space mission. On the way home, however, your commander has gone mad and is locked in a madhouse. Three years later, archaeologist Lloyd Walker was leading excavations near San Francisco . When one of his helpers disappears into the pit found, the authorities close the hole with a concrete cover.

Walker tracks down the aliens living under the earth's surface . City government astronaut William Phillips and Liz Quinlan help Walker fight the aliens. Quinlan later turns out to be one of the aliens in human form.

  • TV directly wrote that the film was way too long.
  • Ray Richmond ( The Hollywood Reporter ) wrote that the plot, especially in the first half, was weak. Among other things, he also criticized the dialogues.

Remarks

The film was directed in Vancouver . It cost about $ 12 million to produce. It also aired as a miniseries on television.
